Hawt

That’s young people speak for “Hot”. 

I think I may finally be recovering.  So I took the 2 hour nap yesterday, then went to bed around 11:30-12 anyway.  Woke up late this morning, laid around until too late to get breakfast at the hotel (9:30), did some work on the ole iPad, but that’s about it.  Went out for lunch, and when I got back, it was hotter than Hades out there, and so humid you were swimming while you were walking. So I went back up to my room.  I spent much of the day doing billing, emails, reading, just lounging around, really.  Didn’t nap again anyway.  Then came the phone calls. I did about 3 hours of phone calls today. Maintenance guy. Other maintenance guy. Owner. FAA. Kaylee. Steve. Can’t remember who else. Oh, Cameron. Just one conversation after the other.

When I finally got hungry again, I did some research, and went to a nearby place for king crab legs. They were super thick and good, but I got butter all over my t-shirt and jeans. So messy.  Lol I only have so many t-shirts for the 3 days I thought I may be here and I’ve now burned through them.  Oops.  Nowhere here can I do laundry with butter issues.  Hopefully I can salvage it at home.

Maintenance guy here can’t get it to leak. He calls me laughing about how it’s dry as a bone. I’m not amused by that, I’m stuck here, Ethan’s paying money, the plane is down, we all have things to do, you’re the expert, so FIND it. He said if they can’t find it tomorrow, he’ll have me fly it around awhile and try to make it do it.  Fine by me. Just…let’s do something.

I stopped at Krispy Kreme on my way home from dinner, and got a cake batter donut.  Now that’s going to be hard to beat. For the record.

Not much else going on. I’m gonna go to bed and see what tomorrow brings. But I do think I finally have recovered a little bit from the last week.  When I was out and about, the sunset was gorgeous and I felt awake for the first time in a couple days.  Nathan is sick, some sinus thing, Morgan is sick, some fever thing, nobody else that I know of is sick so hopefully I’ve avoided all that…
