Steve and I took up the Aerostar today, and he pounded out 1.2 hours' worth of takeoffs and landings and getting back into the swing of the airplane so he can get on the insurance. That's the first time he's gone up and just practiced airplane stuff himself in ages. I do it fairly often, in the tailwheel stuff mostly. It's good stuff.
We went to lunch, where I found out I'll be going to Pennsylvania on Thursday to hopefully pick up the Cheyenne. Then I got back out to Kokomo and went up in the Champ with Ethan, for his first time in a tailwheel airplane. He did a pretty good job with it, actually, and it was a little windy, a 40 degree crosswind gusting to 15 knots, which isn't insignificant in that airplane. After that is when I found out I'll be going to Illinois tomorrow, with Nick, in Ethan's 340. That'll work out just fine.
Last flight of the day was with Ana in the RG doing the ILS 23 at Kokomo. She did a good job with it, and hopefully we can get up soon and do it again and solidify the procedures. I started the day fairly early, and ended the day at 5 pm, came home and did all the stuff here.
I learned that it was probably the ginger root that I didn't like in that other juicing endeavor. Tonight I did celery, green apple, beets and carrots with Amla, over ice, and it was good, I liked it. So it was either radishes or ginger root I didn't like, and I'm guessing the ginger was what was too icky. I finished off my super healthy juicing glass with a bacon sandwich. Bacon is the single most "cancer causing food" out there, apparently. But I had leftover from Easter, I like it, I don't eat it that often, and I am not going to stop eating it, either.
