Orlando

We woke up to low clouds, thunderstorms popping up, and high winds forecast.  The B-24 crew left it on the ramp and drove to Orlando, and me, the Stearman, the T-6 and the T-34 all waited it out. When the weather lifted enough, we all launched and made it to Orlando in good time. Gusty winds but down the runway pretty close, so not too bad.

Nathan and I got our car, got our room, stopped at a Lowe’s to pick up some stuff for BOB, then I went out and picked up Morgan from the airline hub. We went downstairs and hung out at the pool, where she went swimming and I just stuck my feet in.  Had dinner with a guy named Evil who isn’t, and came back to the hotel to get ready for tomorrow.

I don’t have a good feeling about our rides program tomorrow. I think I’m gonna sit. And I don’t like that. This second half of the tour has been super slow for us, which isn’t great…

But for now, I sleep and get up and do my job and hope for the best. The cat is refusing to eat even on steroids and Grandma has thrown away all her underwear again.  Other than that, life is grand. ;)

I still don’t know why these get all out of order. It’s annoying.

We stopped here and it was good old fashioned greasy diner food.

They like me.
