Home

Not a lot to talk about today. I spent much of it trying to figure out what I was going to be doing tomorrow.  So that final plan is...be out at Kokomo at 6:30 am for a 7 am flight to Illinois, then be there until 11 or 12, fly back to Kokomo, pick up Jerry & Jim and maybe Steve, and fly to Wisconsin where Jerry is picking up a Citabria he just purchased, then back home by 4:30 or so.   Here's hoping all the moving parts go smoothly.

Kaylee had a rough day at work and called to talk about it for about an hour. She's into some pretty heavy stuff in this career aspiration of hers. She's doing well and I'm proud of her. She is probably working a little too intensely though, pushing herself a little hard. But we all probably do that at 20 and passionate about what we're doing.  Or 40.  Or 50.  So hey...

We put Ann to bed at her usual time, and then a couple hours later looked out the window and her lights were on.  She apparently got back up and turned on her lights.  She'll go back to sleep, but I guess we may have to put her to bed later than we have been, now that it's lighter later.

Roadie is doing fine. She's been eating fairly well, I've been steroiding her about every other day, and she seems to be doing all right.

My physician contacted me about doing a specific med for a specific preventative thing. I looked it up, and *common* side effects were "anxiety, confusion, dizziness, drowsiness, dysphasia, fatigue, lack of concentration, memory impairment, nausea, nervousness, psychomotor disturbance, speech disturbance, depression, visual disturbance, continuous uncontrolled eye rolling back and forth, double vision, weight loss, weakness, mood changes".  Less common ones included things like "Aggression, lack of feeling or emotion", etc.  I'm like...um, no.  Nope.  No WAY.  Are you NUTS?  Good Grief.  Pick any of those common side effects and let's see how that plays out as a PILOT.  Well, okay, except weight loss. But that probably only happens because of all the other crap happening.  I'd rather stay fluffy, thanks.

Anyway, today was fairly uneventful on my end. Not on Steve's end. We've got a problem with our Twin Beech and he's been scrambling to solve it. We need it up like Now, and we have just a few days to get it up, and it needs to fly some before it goes to Florida.  One small thing has been a show stopper, and he's hoping to have that fixed so we can run it by Monday, which is later than we need it to be running, but is the best we can do.

Onward and upward.  Now, I need to go to bed early so I can get up early so I can be busy tomorrow.
