Kaylee is here for the weekend, Easter break. She hinted that she'd like an Easter basket, and I laughed, but I got her an inexpensive basket and put little Easter toys with a couple Easter chocolate things in there just to make her laugh, probably give it to her Sunday. She's had some troubles with two of her roommates and is a little bummed out, but she'll be all right, I'm sure.
I took the Cheyenne up on a quick test flight today. The winds were up over 30 knots and it was rough, but I was testing the brakes that the guys had fixed, did a "maximum performance takeoff", stayed in the pattern, and came right back in to land. Quick and dirty but the brakes worked and the winds were fun.
That's about it. Ann has forgotten how to put in her hearing aids, and doesn't know what pajamas are now, and today she was short-tempered with Steve, which she never is. I'm going over in a few minutes to put her to bed, and we'll see how she does with me.
Not much else going on, I've been catching up on a lot of stuff and am going to keep going on that before I get busy again with the whole next on the list stuff. 1) T-6 checkout Mon-Wed, 2) Flight to WI to give T-6 rides up there for the WI Wing, then 3) airline flight to TX to do the WASP thing, and I need to find something to wear there too. *sigh*
That's about it for today...
