Stuff

It was a day of organization, mostly. I got my hair highlighted, it's getting more dull as I get older, so Jessica the stylist puts some "caramel" and some reddish highlights on the top.  I organized my emails, mostly my CAF stuff, into Wisconsin Wing, Nashville Wing, Indiana Wing, WASP Wing, and Headquarters. I emailed about the Sweetwater thing, emailed HQ about Nashville checkouts, emailed Nashville about their checkouts, and basically stayed busy doing that for awhile.  I was supposed to go down there tomorrow, but the winds are going to be gusting to 37 knots tomorrow, which is obviously too much for the PT-26.  I did household stuff, laundry and kitchen clean-up, stopped at the store for Ann's supplies, and just had that kind of catch-up day.  Organized my laptop, updated to Windows 11, cleaned out my emails, did everything except work on my presentation due in a couple weeks.  Maybe I can pull that off tomorrow.  *sigh*

Kaylee has a resume now, and has applied to four different places for a paid summer internship in the social work arena.  One place got back to her within 30 minutes and has set up an interview with her.  She's hoping to get to work at a care facility over the summer.

Did I mention a friend online sent me her Apple Watch to try out?  I like it. I can do most things on it that I can do on my phone, without pulling out my phone. Not needed in life, but nice anyway. It also has an ECG function, measures your heart rate, has a pulse ox function, measuring your blood oxygen levels. I think that runs a little low, because normally I run 98% or better and this is reading 95% or so. But still it's a good indicator, once I know what is normal for me with this unit, then it's something I can use in the planes since all our finger units have died and we haven't replaced them. I haven't even figured out what all it will do yet.  One thing it doesn't seem to do as well as my inexpensive little FitBit is monitor my sleep. It doesn't give me the details that the FitBit does for sleep tracking, which I don't believe. So I'm needing to dive some more into that end of it.  All in all, though, I really like it.
