Rest

 Wordle 225 3/6

I got it in three, today, and had a 50/50 chance of getting it in two.  I don't usually get it in two so I'd have liked that.   Oh well.  ;)  I haven't "lost" one yet, and the vast majority of my guesses are in 3.  I did end up with one that took me 6, and in good part it was because my brain just wasn't turned on yet, and I was just randomly guessing instead of thinking.  So I made sure not to do today's at midnight when I was exhausted, or first thing this morning before my coffee, either.  ;)  CBS Sunday Morning did a segment on Wordle, even.  Nothing wrong with a nice mental exercise that doesn't hurt anybody, even though a couple of my friends have complained or made fun of people who post about doing it.  Of course some people's main fun in life seems to be poking fun at what other people find fun or interesting.  Sad state of affairs, maybe they should worry about their own hobbies and interests and less about other people's.

I'm really laying pretty low today.  Watching some football, finishing the book I started reading in the airplane on the way down to FL, getting clean laundry for the week, and yelling at the cat who won't stop repetitively meowing on the deck.  You know, Sunday stuff.  It's beautiful out, and only about 6° below freezing at the moment, but I actually got plenty of flying yesterday, so I'm not even tempted.  ;)

People on Facebook have mentioned more than once about me turning the jet pilot in to the FAA.  That's a terrible idea and I really dislike this current atmosphere of everyone calling the authorities on everyone else for every thing. I see it All.The.Time on Facebook pages. An instructor did something you don't like, call the FAA on them. A mechanic didn't fix a problem, call the FAA on them.  You think somebody made a pass at you, call the FAA on them.  Somebody landed on a runway different than you thought they should, call the FAA on them.  Stop it.  Get over it.  Mind your own business, and if you're going to get the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT involved in someone else's life, you'd better be darned sure it's for the right reason.  A guy being a shit show at the airport and needing more training and manners is not the reason the call the FAA.  He didn't almost kill anyone, he was just rude, inconsiderate and unprofessional.  That's something to talk to him or his employer about, not the FAA.  </Rant.

Well, they're talking about a Winter Storm happening up here this week, like Wed-Fri.  So far they're calling for anywhere from apparently 14" to 24".  I have a really hard time believing that.  We'll probably get like 4".  We'll see.  Of course I'm low on milk, but I won't be going out to the store before this comes in.  Whatever happens, we'll make it.  ;)

Kaylee's birthday present arrived from MO, so now we're just waiting for her to make it back home.  No news on her, again, she seems to be holding her own minus struggling to get up and go to her morning classes.  Hello, college, welcome to life.  ;)
