Adapt

As of 6 pm tonight, this was how my day was supposed to go tomorrow:  Get up at 6 am, at 7 am drive an hour to FKR, take 340 and guy to Ohio, drop him off, fly to KOKK, pick up Steve and Spencer, top off, fly to KMAW (Malden, MO), drop off Steve and Spencer to fly home a Cherokee Six, top off, fly back to OH to pick up first guy, fly back to KFKR to drop him and plane off, drive back to KOKK an hour, pick up other 340, fly two guys down to N. Carolina (Raleigh I believe), drop them off, fly home, hit the self serve pump and top off because everything will be closed, then get up at 4 am and fly two more people in that 340 to Michigan the next morning, and so on.

As of 20 minutes ago, my Ohio meeting guy canceled, so now it’s just load me, Steve and Spencer in the RG at OKK, fly to FKR, fly to MAW, drop them off, fly back to FKR, wait for them in the Cherokee, load back in the RG, fly to OKK, pick up other 340, fly to N. Carolina, drop off two guys, fly home, self-serve fuel, and then get up at 4 am for the next day.

Isn’t that so much better?  ;)

I only had one flight today, in the 172 with Isabel doing checkride prep. We also took the time to take some photos of the Fall foliage around the Missinewa Reservoir up north, before it all falls off and goes away.  It was cold out there today, but sunny and pretty. And windy and bumpy.  But still nice.

I'm doing laundry tonight and packing a bag, as tomorrow I will be hopping all day long until late, self-serve fueling, then up at 4 am and going all day again, overnight in Columbia, MO.  Need the bag for that. Fortunately the weather looks pretty good for all of these legs coming up!

Kaylee and her rommates decorated for Christmas tonight, and want us to come look at it over the weekend.  I told her it's the day after Halloween, we haven't even had Thanksgiving yet, don't be THAT person.  But it cheered her up and she's in a good mood, so...as long as she doesn't do it HERE, yet, I'm good with that.  ;)

Time to finish laundry and packing.  Tomorrow will start early enough!
