It was a quiet day, bad weather, calm, and I can't stop being a little uptight about everything going on. I'm not sure I can get my student done before she goes to Purdue and she has to be done by the 13th. I'll be gone until the 1st, gone the 7-8th on the Colorado trip, and we have to schedule the checkride asap and she's not ready, so she has to get ready. We have to get Ann to Tennessee Tuesday or Wednesday, and the planes are mostly down for maintenance. The Sunday of Oshkosh I have to fly home in the T-6 and then do 4 T-6 rides at home for people from afar who can't do it any other day. I have Dubuque to keep me tense, and then Oshkosh to keep me tense, and maybe some warbird photo shoots while up there, and the Terre Haute crew all got checked out in the BT-13 yesterday and this morning, but I'll need to wait until next month now, which is fine. Originally they wanted me to figure out how to get to Cincinnati with it to get my checkout done there...in a day or two. Ack. That didn't work, so next month it is. The 340 needs to go back to Ohio for maintenance on the pressurization system and a wing fuel leak, supposedly by Monday. Not sure when or how that will happen either. Lots going on for such a "quiet" week.
I got my hair cut and permed today. She did a nice job not making the top overly curly this time so it's not that "too new" look. Hopefully that helps with helmet hair the rest of this month. lol
These are pictures from Morgan on our Champ flight. It makes me laugh because 1) that's how much more air hits the back seat than the front seat with the window open, 2) how normal girls look in airplanes all cute like the front seater, and how I end up looking, like the back seat. :D
