Snap

I guess I got busy, so for a hit and run, I am getting everything ready to head to Nashville, TN this afternoon in the PT-26.  It'll take me almost 3 hours to get down there.  I was supposed to go tomorrow evening, but tomorrow's weather looks sketchy, so I'm going early rather than risk not making it on time at all.  It's for an event where I will be meeting at dinner with some folks, and talking about the CAF, and then Saturday morning is a pancake breakfast and event, and they're giving away rides in the PT and another plane, so I'll give those rides, and then at some point Saturday afternoon head back.

Today I am sending off a student on her long solo cross country too, so hopefully that goes well.  Weather looks okay today, but I may not be around when she gets back.

Kaylee has finals this week and has been pretty quiet.  I just shoot off a "love ya" and get one back now and then so I know she's still alive over there.  :)

Steve is working on airshow stuff for the upcoming event at Indy Exec, and the formation clinic coming up, and the Sept airshow which we just publicly announced, and his regular work, and some taxes or paperwork on the house, and getting our fence rebuilt, which is bad timing because the price of lumber is ridonculous.  In other words, he's swamped.

Ann is hanging in over there, she's got spots on her face that keep breaking out, like her skin is breaking down here and there, and hoping that it heals up soon.  But she's otherwise in good spirits.

And I've got to go take a shower and get ready for the rest of the day, which includes going to Metro to pick up shirts and a canopy, going to Kokomo to pick up a headset and sign off Ana on her cross country, going home to finish packing my stuff and making sure I'm not forgetting anything, checking the weather, again, going to Sheridan to pick up the PT, and flying 3 hours before dark to get to Nashville where I won't know a single soul at this airport function and hope I can pull it off for the #2 fellow in charge of the CAF National HQ.  Wish us all luck.  ;)
