I'm stiff and sore today, and it's from the formation flying and rides in the T-6, and being tense. Tense at formation, tense landing all those times in front of a big crowd and a lot of cameras. I haven't seen any photos yet from the event, really, and I'm tense about that too. I'm just tense in general apparently. :D I took some Advil this morning and I'm still a little stiff. It's kind of funny and kind of sad. It tells me I need to make more of an effort to relax my muscles when I'm formating. ;)
Steve mowed the lawn and made us breakfast of hash browns and eggs with cheese and bacon. Good stuff. When I got done with that, and ready, I drove to Frankfort where I met up with Ethan, and he flew me over to Ohio in his Cherokee Six, and I picked up his 340 and brought it back to Frankfort. Some time on the ground there, time in the air, and a two hour drive later, I was home for the day.
Tomorrow I take him and his wife to S. Carolina for vacation, drop them off and fly the plane home. Go pick them back up on Thursday. It may be IFR, it'll be the first time in actual IFR in this plane, and I don't know the 750 well, but...it shouldn't be a problem.
One of the guys I took on a T-6 ride friended me on Facebook, and said he'd had the best experience of his life. That was cool. :)
Our formation loose, from the air. Far left, Mark, Yellow T-6 is JP, big dog is Jordan in the C-47, I'm to his right, and way behind me on far right is Twin Beech with Jordan Ray. :)
Messy me and my happy rider.
He seems pleased. ;)
Us as the sun is going down.
