At 10 am I had an interview with a lady from AOPA, who is writing an article on pilot moms. She asked if she could interview me, so she called and we talked for about an hour. I have no idea what if anything she'll use or say. I'm not sure how I feel about being in an article. Actually that's not true, I do know how I feel. Uncomfortable. But...we'll see how it goes I guess.
I got some exercise in, walking, push-ups, a little weights. I'm way out of shape again. *sigh*
I was supposed to have three flights today. Busy day, right? And it got up to almost 50° here today! Woot! The snow is starting to melt, the piles in our yard are smaller, and I can get out of the driveway without almost getting stuck at the end. My 2nd flight of the day canceled first, due to work problems on his end. My 1st flight of the day canceled second, because she's trying to solo and the winds were a 40° crosswind at 20 knots. Too high for her. My 3rd flight of the day canceled last, because he just didn't feel like it. So...no flying today. Tomorrow I have two more, and I think they'll go. Then Thursday I go back to Florida to pick up Ethan and his son in his 340.
Here's an interesting article about scientists who are able to establish a communication with some folks who can lucid dream. I can do that sometimes, and Kaylee has been able to too. They're super vivid dreams, and if they get too scary, I can still be dreaming, know I'm dreaming, and change my dreams mid-stream. The lucid dreaming part I mean we've done, not the communicating with someone while lucid dreaming. I think if I was asleep and anyone talked to me, I'd just wake up. I'm too light a sleeper for that. But it's interesting.
