The rest of the day I was non-stop busy.
Early this morning I was out at Kokomo doing tower controlled field takeoffs and landings with a student scared to death to do it. So we were over there quite awhile practicing before I could get out and let her do it solo. :) We got back, and a friend flew in from Michigan, and we all ran out to lunch. But I was tight on time, so I had to leave lunch early, get back to the airport, and sign off a young lady on her last solo cross-country. She left and another young lady came in to meet with us for the first time, wanting to learn how to fly. We talked until my last student came, a young lady transitioning to the 172 from the Champ and trying to get ready to solo the 172 so she can do her solo cross countries and progress towards her certificate. We got done at 5, I got gas in the plane, ran home to change clothes, and Steve and I left to go eat dinner with Kaylee. There was almost no sitting around today, it was go go go.
And I thought it was odd that we were all women up there flying today. I don't chase after female students, that's just who I happened to have. Thought that was kinda wild. Lots of estrogen out there today. :)
Sunset tonight. I don't have any birthday pics of Kaylee this time. She has several envelopes and a package from Grandma Chiles to open when she gets back to her dorm. :)
