Starting up Next

Six of us met up in Peru for lunch today at a new place, and I had a really good burger.  Can't remember the name of the place right now though.  lol  (Beef O'Brady's.  I just looked it up.)  Then I had 2-4 and 4-6 pm flights, ending with the runway and airplane lights on all and dark falling fast.  We were done by 5:30 pm and it was already overcast and depressingly dark out there.  Boo.

Tomorrow morning I'm doing a formation flight with the Super Tucano.  I flew it from the back seat several years ago with him, and we went "Yak Hunting", did dog fighting, and had a fantastic time.  He said he needed someone with a formation card to do a last recurrent formation flight with before the plane went to Arizona for the winter.  So, okay, one short formation flight it is.  Ought to be interesting anyway!  I'm looking forward to it.  Winter started doing that thing where I feel like I'm trapped and stuck and twitchy, and doing something different helps make that go away for a little while.  When it got dark by 5:30, and I saw it was 5:27, it felt like your whole day should be over, when in the summer, my day is only half over by then.

Not much else going on.  Going to go do Ann's eyedrops, and deliver some mail, and come back and do a recommendation letter and a few other paperwork things.  Fascinating, I know....
