Cubbing

The weather is doing that thing where it was warm and sunny, and suddenly it's tanking to cold and grey, and there go my sinuses/head.  I've been mostly holding it off today, but I can feel it up there as the barometric pressure is dropping, a lot.  Ugh.  I take magnesium and feverfew and claritan D and it just hangs on a little, until probably tomorrow when the pressure drops off the most.  I need to work on more Google Fu.  There has to be something people can do to help.  Flying actually gets to me more then, and I can feel the pressure in my head.  That Zok thing does seem to help in the beginning with that.  Fortunately I guess, tomorrow's weather is bad, so I probably won't be flying anyway.  I would like to fly about 14 more hours before the end of the year and break 600 hours, and 250 of it being tailwheel.  But I only have 2 weeks, which means at least an hour a day, and I don't think that'll be.  We'll see.  :)

The only flight I ended up doing today was with Kaylee, because my 4 pm had to cancel because of his own schedule, on the last beautiful warm day we'll probably see until Spring.  Our Champ is down with broken oleos, so I took her in the Legend Cub.  She did better from the front than the back, now that she could reach the rudders all the way.  ;)  We flew by Glenndale and said hello, over to Greentown, and then she did three takeoffs and landings.  We had a decent crosswind though, and she struggled some with that, like everyone does.  I told her crosswind landings on concrete in a tailwheel are the hardest part of learning.  I enjoyed spending the time with her, but after flying I could feel it in my head even more.  So I came home, drank a PowerAde, did the dishes and trash, and am sitting down watching a lame TV show and relaxing for a bit before everyone else gets home.

A few of Kaylee flying around up front.

I set my phone down in the pocket in front of me, and managed to end up with three selfies I didn't actually take on purpose. Not even sure how they took.  Under the chin shots are NOT attractive in general.  This one wasn't too bad, so I deleted the rest and kept this because I thought it was funny.

Me and Kaylee.  :)

The Cub we flew, under a pretty warm sky.
