Hump Day

I don't have anything interesting to report from today.  My morning had been canceled, I tried to sleep in but couldn't, so got up anyway after staying up late trying to see what was going to happen with the election.  Somewhere around 1 am, well, actually before that, but somewhere around there we decided to give it up and go to bed, knowing it was going to be a long few days.  In the past I always stayed up, even when it was 2 or 3 am when Bush was declared the winner.  But this time it was obvious it was going to be a waste of my sleep time.  ;)

My afternoon was canceled because of high winds and my two ladies trying to do things in the Champ.  It was beautiful and warm outside, and I couldn't enjoy most of it.

Kaylee is home for a few days here.  So I have to go pick up some almond milk.  Lol

Tomorrow I'm supposed to have a husband/wife airline team who want to do T-6 flying.  Both doing a discovery flight in it, basically, which then may turn into a couple of lessons.  Then I have Champ young lady again at 1.  Hopefully it's nice enough for her--it's supposed to be windy again tomorrow but maybe not as bad as today.  I hope that for my own sake too.  :)

Ann had an eye appointment today to check over her one eye that had the cataract removed, and they said it looked "fantastic".  Then they prepped us for her next eye's cataract removal surgery, which is next Tuesday.  She says she can see much brighter and clearer out of her left eye now.  And her right eye is her "good" eye, so once that's done, her vision should get SO much better.  Then we'll get her an up to date prescription and she should be in good shape as far as her eyes go.

Kaylee is in there singing random songs loudly and eating our grapes.  Ah, it's good to have the college kid home, eh?  ;)
