Quick

Quieter day.  Somehow you stay busy even with just one flight.  It was a tailwheel flight in the Champ, followed by dinner at Outback with Steve and Ann, with Kaylee as our server.  She had the tables on either side of us too, and it was fun hearing her interact with them.  She was friendly and engaging, quick, and she didn't forget anything either.  She actually did quite a good job.  Steve grossly overtipped her of course.  lol  She was sent home early because they were so slow, so it was good we went at 5 pm so we could catch her as our waitress before tomorrow, her last day at Outback before she heads back to college.

Saturday she wants to move in at 1 pm.  I have a fly-in at Westfield where I'd promised to take the T-6 over and have already sold a ride in it, and it's from 11-3.  So I told her she could start over earlier, and Steve and I could follow along behind and help finish up, move in the fridge and the heavy duty stuff.  Then she'll be back at school, taking classes, fitting into a new program (social work), making new friends, and hopefully having a better experience than her first semester, which also ended abruptly from COVID.  So, here's hoping for a positive experience overall.
