NOshkosh Day Three: Westfield

This will be a shorter post, and you're welcome. ;) We were all pretty tired after Monday and Tuesday, so we decided to sleep in and not hit the breakfast.  We also woke up to fog and rain, and the runway was questionable after the deluge the night before, so nobody was able to fly in.

We got together out at Kokomo, and drove in Nathan's car down to Westfield to show our support for their day.  They had walking tacos for food, and drinks, and a talk on LSA cross country planning.  There weren't a ton of people there because of both the weather and the general lack of people as interested in ultralights and LSAs.  But we went, we stayed for a couple of hours, and then we left and headed back to Kokomo.  I don't remember what we did the rest of the afternoon, other than that night we went out to dinner in Fairmount, IN, at a place called "Grains and Grill", where I had an excellent maple pecan salmon with garlic green beans and mashed potatoes.  It was seriously good.

More camp fires and hang-outs that evening.

Our NOshkosh T-shirts and hats were in attendance

The boys stopped at a sweet corn stand by a farm, freshly picked that very day, for our steak dinner.
