Rollin'

Weather is so fickle.  Last night when I went to bed, I thought, "Well, won't be flying tomorrow either" per the forecast of low hanging overcast clouds.  I wake up and the sky is totally clear, and I think "Huh, I guess I'll get to fly today!"  Until noon when the clouds rolled in low and I thought "Huh, I guess not".  Until 1:30 when they cleared up enough to be able to do pattern work and then go to Ohio, where it was sometimes cloudy and sometimes severe clear.  Mother Nature was a little schitzo today.

I flew John R's Bonanza over to a little place in Ohio, to pick him up after he dropped his 421 there for maintenance.  For a February, it was a pretty day, and I took a bunch of pictures, and a bunch of airplanes were all up flying around.

Kaylee texted me today,

"Today I learned how to deadlift.  It was fun!  I am weak!

My friend was deadlifting 230 lbs and I was doing 50 lbs and struggling!

Soon I will be so tough and brawny that the secret service cannot deny me."

I said "Hey, they can use stubborn, strong women."

She said "Yeah, it's mostly men I think.  I was one of like 5 females at the thing, and I was by far the puniest person in the room.  Lil' redheaded girl. lol"

I said "Big things can come in small packages."

She tried to call me then to talk, but I was in an airplane on the way to Ohio texting, so I told her I couldn't talk.  She said "Kinda sad that you're too busy to talk to your daughter.  I'm kidding.  lol  I'm just being a pest.  Bring home that bacon."

My favorite girl.  :)
