First thing in the morning, I went back to the doc for the ultrasound test. I was in and out of there in 20 minutes. She said it could take up to 2 weeks to read results, though it "usually doesn't take that long", and that they'd call me.
Somebody at Glenndale's lunch yesterday brought Krispy Creme glazed donuts sliced in half with strawberries and strawberry composte on it, and whipped cream. I managed to only eat half of one, but MAN it was good. I overate on everything else anyway, which I didn't want to do as we're going to dinner tomorrow night for Kaylee's birthday and I planned on that day being the one I let go a little on. I've learned about myself, if I eat a big breakfast or lunch, I *still* need a fair amount of food in the evening, and I overeat. If I limit my breakfast/lunch, I'm fine all day, not even hungry, and I can eat a decently large dinner, and I don't overeat and still feel satisfied. I'm down about 5 pounds, in 2 weeks, so that's reasonable, although after Fri/Sat, I might wait a few days to weigh again. ;) I wish I could just drop the first 10 pounds in a week or something, but my 47 year old woman's metabolism doesn't cooperate with that idea. I still hate having to work that hard at tiny increments. But as they say, it is what it is.
