Kaylee had her last two classes for the first time today. She loves the psychology class, even though it's at 7:50 am, really likes her professor, and everything about the class. It and the forensic science class are the two she's most excited about. Next was a music class, and she started off less excited about that. The professor is a "Dr. Somebody", and "old", and "stuffy", and "severe". He also started off talking about super basic music stuff like "what is pitch", and she was bored. And then it changed, when he started deconstructing music, putting things together, changing rhythms on the piano, etc., and then tied it all together and started playing "Piano Man". She loved how he talked about the thought process, the construction and deconstruction of the song, and is looking forward to diving into more "song writing" stuff. So all in all, she's looking forward to all of her classes.
She had to call and talk to us for another hour and a half tonight. She's so funny. Her roommate is gone until the weekend, she's procrastinating (already) on doing her homework, she took two college personality tests that are required, and who knew, she was an extrovert. ;)
She's doing well. Day Two down, and doing fine.
Tomorrow I need to get a ride to Aurora, IL somehow. We have no planes available. That makes it a little harder. If I don't get it tomorrow, the plane is stuck until probably Sunday at least, for weather, which doesn't make them happy. Doesn't make Steve happy either. Need to get the plane back home. *sigh*
