I woke up at 3:30 am for no known reason, and didn't get back to sleep halfway until close to 7 am. I had to get up at 7:30, so that was lovely. ;) I met up with Nathan at the airport, and we launched for Kissimmee, Florida. He flew this leg, and we ended up shooting an RNAV approach, because it was 800' overcast and chilly in Florida. It was bright sunshine and clear blue skies in Kokomo. Bad irony, there.
I flew the trip home, with Kevin, his son & daughter, and her fiance, Nathan & I. Plus all their baggage from a week. Heavy plane, but the Cheyenne doesn't care. She's a beast.
Got home and started working on stuff to get ready for our trip to Oregon. Laundry, packing, dishes, Steve bug bombed the deck to get rid of fleas, and we washed all the bedding and blankets out there. Hopefully that'll get rid of the fleas, along with the stuff I put on the cats, and I've ordered a collar. I'm not confident in Dulcie wearing it, but Roadie might, and she gets the worst of fleas. We'll see.
We're trying to bring an extra bag each so we can bring home a bunch of Kaylee's stuff. The rest we'll have to ship before we leave.
That's the quick and dirty catch-up. We'll have to leave the house at like 3:45 am to get down to Indy when we're supposed to for this flight. That's nuts...
Here's the shape of Atlanta's airspace. The busiest airport in the world, every year since 2000. I waved when I flew dead over the top of 'em.
