The T-6 is done except for something that needs put back on, which hopefully somebody does tomorrow so it's ready by 7:00 am. Monday morning.
Ann is doing great today. We walked some laps around the floor. They won't let her walk by herself, even with a walker, even though she walks just fine, so she had to have "daughter supervision" on the walks. :D We did a few laps a few times. She'd been "hankering" for some coffee (as MY grandma would say), but when you're there for a cardiac issue, they won't give you caffeine. While we walked, Steve got them to let us have a cup of decaf. When we told her there was a cup of hot decaf coffee waiting for her, she about broke into a run to get back into the room to get to it! lol They are adjusting a med tonight, monitoring tomorrow, and if all goes well, she can come home either tomorrow or Monday. She's ready to get back in the garden and get back to walking!
Kaylee has so much to do, and only 9 days in which to do it. I poke her a little more each day. She is slowly getting a few things done, but not nearly enough. She said on the swing dance, she and Joe demonstrated a couple of lifts to the small learning group, and they loved that. She did have fun. Tonight she is out watching "Aladdin" with a girl named DD, who did a barbershop quartet with her last year. Tomorrow she is going to see Carrie Underwood in concert with Caitlin. I told her, and then she needs to tell her friends she has to get ready to be GONE FOR FIVE MONTHS. Finish her thank you notes, clean her room, pack her bags, organize. Girlfriend better get to it!
