Kaylee got round two of her Senior photos done today, but it's her first official professional photo shoot. The other photos were just photos a friend in her class took. The friend is well on her way though, she does a great job! The professional photographer says she'll have the first photos within a few days, and hopes to have a book of photos ready by Kaylee's Open House. We saw some sneaked photos that Meredith did, and they look amazing. I can't wait to see the finished products. She is so grown up!
I think I need to list out some of the things I need to do. Kaylee has a poster board that she needs for a Sunday church thing. I will be gone Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and possibly Thursday. That leaves tomorrow for me to buy a poster board and some letters, decorate it, select the photos from all of history to figure out which ones to get, get them printed, get them cut up and on a poster board and looking good, and ready to go. That's One project to do. I also need to make cookies for Kaylee's senior recital, even though I can't make it there. I need to hit the store. I need to find addresses and figure out who else to send invitations to and get them In The Mail. I need to work on the Open House. Decorations, get them found and ordered or picked up. Cathy and Rania are helping with ideas, and we love them so far. :) I need to work on the Spring Fling. I won't even go into everything I need to work on for those last two things. I need to come up with a couple of powerpoint presentations of photos from various travels, too. I have to figure out when and how to get the T-6 to Peru, IL for the TBM Avengers Gathering. Thursday? Friday I have a trip to Dallas where I get up at 3:30 am. I'll get home around 7 pm, and then Peru's airspace closes at 9 pm my time for an airshow. Unless I want to fly the T-6 in the dark for an hour and a half (I don't), I have a small window there to get the airplane there Friday, weather permitting and if my schedule goes well. I have a hotel room Friday evening. Then I have to figure out where to park and how to go about doing rides on Saturday and Sunday, and what to do about the weather and this airplane not being able to get soaked. Jordan Brown will be there and has said we're going to fly the C-45. It's been two years since I flew that, and not wanting to look like an idiot to him or the entire warbird community who will be there, I need to study the C-45 stuff ahead of time and then hope I can still land the thing. ;) So as you can see, I have plenty of time to study. Or figure out what to do. Or get everything ready. I had flights almost all day today, until about 5 pm, and I have flights all afternoon tomorrow, too. So again, plenty of time to get everything done, right?
