Post Titles Are Hard

I know, I haven't been doing a good job again lately.  Now and then I just run into time frames where I don't feel like I have anything to say.  Life is just life, you know?

Kaylee is on Spring Break, at home, through today.  She and the cast of Hello Dolly are going down south of Indy to watch another school's performance of the musical.  They met at show choir competition and ran into each other, and they said they'd come watch each other.  The other group didn't come up to ours, but our kids just bought tickets to go watch theirs anyway.  She said they have a much smaller cast even though their school is actually huge.  I said that's a credit to Mrs. E., who likes to have huge choirs and cast, that it makes the production look professional and filled out, plus gives everyone a chance to shine a bit.  So the kids are looking forward to seeing how this really big school in Indy with a big musical budget, all opposite of little Greentown, does it.  :)

I asked Kaylee about flying.  She said it's like driving was to her.  She wants to do it, but she doesn't like the process of having to learn to do it.  Once it's done, she's glad to have it.  So she wants to have it done, but needs me to remind her and set things up.  I'd flat asked her if she really wanted to do it, or no, that I didn't want to push her to do something and drag her into it.  She said she really enjoys the Cub and finds it to be fun flying.  She'd like to do it in there.  That means we have a few things to figure out. But it'll remind me to hit her up on nice days and work into her schedule as much as I can when she's actually around.

Steve got back last night.  They had a good trip out to Phoenix, and he enjoyed sending us photos of the food he was eating, while we had Culvers and such.  Wednesday I took kind of a me day.  I went to see a movie, I ordered Japanese carry-out for dinner, I sat in Panera and had a salad for lunch while reading a book, I had nobody on the schedule, I basically turned off my phone and just went out and had a Laura Day.  While I was in Panera though, I ran into Jerry L, one of our pilot guys, meeting with a group of guys, and then I ran into Mary Dawn, too.  So apparently Panera at lunch is a happening place!  :)

One of our 1099 tax forms had come back wrong for Steve C.  So I picked up the corrected one and told him I could get it to him.  He said he'd meet me at my house at 4 pm.  By 4:20 he wasn't there and I said I had to leave again in 30-45, so he said put it in my mailbox slot and he'd grab it.  I waited awhile, then did that.  I'm getting ready to leave, and there's a knock on my door.  It's him, asking for it.  I say it's in the mailbox.  No, it's not.  In the ten minutes since I'd put it there, the mail lady had come by and taken it as mail to be mailed...even though it didn't have a stamp on it. WHOOPS.  And what are the odds of that?!  So I had the 1088, our form of it, and had him take a photo of that, which had all his info.  The next day, his 1099 arrived in his own mail.  I guess it worked, but that's not what I meant to do.

Dulcie has another butt gland expression date coming up on Monday.  Hopefully she's feeling better by now.  I think she is, because she's more playful.  Roadie is gaining enough weight her little belly is swinging when she runs now.  Those are both good things.  :)

Tomorrow we're doing a big thing on BOB.  We'll all be out there working on that, and looking forward to getting it done.  Kind of exciting progress.  And the T-6 should be ready to run up too, and be maybe ready to go.  Looking super forward to that, too.  I have so much I want to do...before I get too old and decrepit to do it.  :)

I got my medication from the OBGYN that's to help with fibroids.  I go to buy it and the lady says "That'll be $98".  OUCH.  This is a 5 day supply.  I said "ouch" out loud.  She tries to run it through insurance, but it's no help.  So then she found a coupon back there, and got it to me for $55 instead.  Thank you, ma'am.  I looked up the side effects and it lists some possible doozies, including migraines, nausea, dizziness.  So...with the cost every month, and the obvious caveat that I can't take that on a day where I may be flying, at least until I see how it affects me, the odds are unlikely that I'll keep it up.  We'll see how it works and how it affects me, first.  Although I looked it up on the "FAA approved or not medicine website" from AOPA, and it was listed as an approved med as long as the side effects aren't problematic.  So that's good.  :)

Okay, time to get to work!
