Roadie and Life Update

Roadie is eating tuna a couple times a day.  Right now, the plan from the vet is to wait until early next week.  If she's still getting stronger, eating, more herself, we'll get more blood work done on her.  If her bilirubin levels are down and she's stable, the vet is willing to put her under anesthesia for her dental issues. If her levels have climbed, then he's not comfortable with the risks of anesthesia on her to combat something that wouldn't help her long term.  So tomorrow I pick up more of the meds for her, to last until next week, along with a can of specialty cat food that is extra soft for her to try.  Right now she'll only eat tuna.  Hoping to find actual cat food she might actually eat.  So far no luck.  The vet also suggested we try broth instead of just water for her to drink, since I can't catch her drinking anything.  She's only gone to the bathroom once in 24 hours.

Steve's Uncle Hank passed away.  Jeff is in town for the funeral, and tonight we went down to Noblesville to have dinner.  It was super good, too.  I had pan seared chicken and potatoes and rice and it was great.  Wolfie's is the name of the place.  Steve said his blue cheese steak and wedge salad was really good too.

The cleaning people were supposed to come over tomorrow and clean, which was great timing for Thanksgiving.  Unfortunately, one was sick, two are out of town, and they're canceling the night before.  Boo.  ;)
