I had a flight with Justin H in the 172 down to Westfield, where their grass is hugely long and wet, and picked up the Champ to take back to Kokomo to do some work on it. He practiced a few tailwheel takeoffs and landings, and then I messed with the tailwheel on the ground to see about an issue we were having with it. I went to lunch, then had a flight in the pattern with a guy from Indy. From there I had a school board meeting and dinner, then home to plan for my trip to South Carolina tomorrow early morning.
One thing; we had to rename our "Secret Santa" program at the school to "Santa's Workshop", because a little girl told a worker "I'm not SUPPOSED to keep secrets from my mom and dad". So because of the concerns of protecting kids against sexual predators, we're not allowed to have a Secret Santa program any more, because of the word secret, and apparently because we can't explain the difference between keeping a present you bought your mom a secret from her (if they can anyway) and keeping it a secret if someone is inappropriate towards you.
Now, time to go plan this flight and see what weather I've got.
