"I looked at the selection list and saw that there are two students who are not going to end up taking the class (one is dropping it, the other is moving). I am going to make sure that Kaylee is one of the two that fills that spot. I spoke to her personally today when I found that out and so she is aware. I want her in there, I think she will do well in there, and we will have room to make it happen.
On a personal note -- I would take a class full of Kaylees if I could. You and your wife have done an incredible job raising her - she is kind, compassionate, and absolutely hilarious. Everyone here loves her and I’ve been blessed to have her in class. So thank you for that!"
Isn't that sweet? Does a parent's heart good, too!
My day was spent doing paperwork and running around airplanes, and I'm not done with the first thing, yet.
This morning I flew the Cub to its real home at Glenndale and put it away in the hangar. It was a little chilly, and windy, but it was a nice flight! A guy picked me up in a 172, we got back to Kokomo and took off in the 172RG for Aurora, IL. The winds and weather are backwards here today, and I had the tailwind heading west. Got there, the 340 was sitting out and ready to go, and I launched for home right away. I was trying to beat some low ceilings and rain in. I did, too. I got sprinkled on as I came in, and the ceilings were coming down already. So it was good to get all this stuff accomplished. Even better, I fly this Cub, and the guy who owns it says he owes me big time. He owes me because I delivered his airplane, which I'm going to fly a ton, to his hangar? He doesn't owe me. :)
I still have a lot of things to work on. My C-421 training is in California the first week in May. I just got my hands on a POH, so I really need to dig through that. I have to finish my claim for my car thing in Florida where I hit a deer. They have to have a couple more things I've been dragging my feet on doing because I don't exactly know how. I have some emails I need to get out, for business stuff. Steve has way more to do, he's been behind on computer and other stuff and is plowing on that a lot. I had some forms to turn in to Write-Patterson AFB to allow me to fly in. I am a little confused, so I sent what I had, and filled out another set of my own, and sent it all in, and hopefully it covers what they need. Anyway, that's part of what we're doing over here...

The weather was heading for Kokomo, and so was I.
