Faster

Kaylee was up until 1:30 am working on Pre-Calculus homework last night.  Steve stayed up to help her, and I stayed up out of moral support.  Then those two had to get up early and I didn't, which isn't quite fair, so I got up at 8 for some sort of moral support that they wouldn't even know about since they were both gone.  ;)

Kaylee has been invited to the National Honors Society, and has to submit some kind of application.  She is scheduling her SAT exam this week.  She is finalizing the classes she is going to take her SENIOR YEAR of high school this week.  And she is starting her Driver's Ed hours this week, finishing next week culminating in the test and the license.  Gah.  On the classes for next year, she said she actually is only 1 credit short of graduating at the end of her Junior Year.  She could technically graduate after the first semester next year, but she's not going to.  She'll have her "invisiline" off next year about a month from now, so before Graduation.  Other than having some struggles with some of her grades off and on, she's doing great, and growing up way too fast on me all of a sudden.

I finally got to fly with two students today.  It was cold but sunny, and it was so nice to finally get a day where people could accomplish something.  That won't be tomorrow--30 knot winds and yuck.  But today, at last, we got some stuff done.  Felt good.
