We had a nice pre-Christmas brunch this morning. Biscuits and gravy, cheesy eggs, bacon, orange juice. The only problem was that the biscuits came from the freezer and they didn't cook up very well. If you break them up and drown them in gravy they aren't so bad though...
I ended up running to Meijer at 6 pm, and we are in the process of getting 3-6" of snow. Drivers are going very slowly, but fortunately the roads weren't that bad. What I thought was more funny though, was that I ran into two different people I know, at the store. Good thing I wasn't a complete mess, but 6 pm on Christmas Eve at the store you run into fellow degenerates. ;)
Tonight Kaylee picked the movie, so we are watching "By the Light of the Silvery Moon" with Doris Day. It's holiday-ish. She's singing along to the songs on the movie. Most kids, when you let them pick the Christmas movie if they'll come hang out with you, do not pick Doris Day. This is one of the things I enjoy about Kaylee. :)
