This Week In Review

Really there's not been a lot going on to talk about.  The winds were too high for most student pilots, and I didn't have any trips.  So basically I've been working on paperwork, cleaned up my desk area (that part is sort of impressive), and did basic, boring things each day.

Today I played for Kaylee's piano/voice teacher, while she sang.  We ran through it three times, none of them perfect, but not bad.  If I could run it through a few times before the real one "counted", I'd be in better shape, but we'll get what we get and hopefully it'll be good.  :)

I posted some photos on Facebook, but here are more.  I need to put them up on my personal site if I get time.

Kaylee has hardly been to school this week.  First she had a Camp Day where she went to a nearby camp in order to work with special needs kids, and she worked in the music "tent" with them.  She really enjoyed it and said it made her nostalgic for camp camp.  Today she had a student council meeting, where she was elected as an officer in charge of advertising and fun, and tomorrow she is doing a day where she and a group are going out to an old folks home and doing some grounds work, weeding, cleaning up, etc.  Pretty neat thing they have the high schoolers doing the last two weeks of school.  And she loves it all.
