Ann was out working in the gardens again today, and things are looking so colorful and pretty!
Kaylee found out today she was given a small solo singing part in the upcoming Spring concert. She is also one of 8 kids chosen to do a special dance during one of the songs, and then she has a second solo she'd gotten earlier. So she's pleased with this upcoming concert and some things she gets to do in it. She showed us the dance tonight, and it's pretty fast, and looks good.
Kaylee also did some more driving today. She drove from a parking lot near the school, out onto the bypass highway, on the back roads to Glenndale. She doesn't really enjoy driving yet, because it makes her nervous not feeling like she's fully in charge and in control, and it makes her nervous that I don't have a set of controls I can grab too. Each time she drives she smooths out and does better and better, but she thinks she's not doing well because she's not comfortable yet. I left the radio on this time to provide a quiet background music to try to relax her (it works for me if I'm tense on something). I tried to sneak a picture but her peripheral vision is just fine and she was "yelling" at me when I snapped the first shot. So I sneaked another couple anyway. She was doing well enough I could relax enough to aim a camera at her, unlike the first time she drove, during which we both were highly focused. lol I wish she enjoyed it more though because I have to make her do it right now, and I'd rather she wanted to hop into it and get it done. Maybe in a few more drives (I almost typed 'flights') she'll be more relaxed and eager to get going.
Look at the baby bunny. Look at it. SO CUTE.
My CAF flightsuit came in this box today. Ummmm, okay?! Lol

Kaylee focusing.
Me getting Kaylee to laugh. ;)
