I was planning on staying home and reading a book today and taking the day off. Instead I was wide awake and up by 7, and ended up needing to be out at the airport from 11 until about 4 while a mechanic came to look at Walt's T-6. He found some definite problems, overheated wiring, etc., and will be back tomorrow to look into it more, try to find the cause.
A guy some of you don't know named "Hollywood" posted this picture today, and it made me smile. The family has a new to them plane, and they have matching shirts with it on them, which you can't see here but it's cute, and then they're mostly all turned and looking at me. I saw them down there, but I didn't see whoever else was apparently there fast enough to get a cellphone out. I thought it was kind of a well-timed shot though. :)
