Mother's Day

Happy Birthday to my Mom, who is still quite young, thank you!  And  Happy Mother's Day to both my Moms, neither one of whom has to love me but both who do anyway.  :)  I'm a lucky girl.

Kaylee got me a candle and a very sweet card where she wrote out how much she loves and appreciates me.  Another case of proof that I am blessed.  She and I had to go shopping today for her 80s outfit, so we went to Goodwill first.  We found a skirt, shirt and belt, and then had to go to Wal-Mart to find leggings and jewelry to go with it.  We had a good time, and I think we got the mission accomplished appropriately.  Afterwards we went to McAlister's Deli and sat and had broccoli cheese soup in a bread bowl (yum) and talked for over an hour about life, and school, and friends, and driving, and the future.  It was the right way to spend a Mother's Day.  Usually I'd take the motorcycle out to the airport and fly the T-6 just for me, something I don't do as often as people assume, and I had the option today as the weather was nice.  I thought about taking the Cub up for a little bit too.  But in the end, after Kaylee and I got back, I just wanted to be home.

Steve did some garden weeding and planting for his Mom today.  :)  It was a nice day.  Too bad tomorrow is Monday!  I could use another day in between Saturday and Sunday sometimes!
