Steve had to work up in northern Indiana on computer stuff, getting back fairly late, and Kaylee had to stay after school until late for various after-school activities, and then start her homework at about 9:45 pm. Fortunately she didn't have a ton of it, but enough.
I had a very full day, but you're sure not going to find it interesting. I attacked the house and got a fair amount done as far as cleaning and organizing. A good portion of the house looks and feels good to me again. I took our old TVs, printer, etc. out to the recycling place and got it off my kitchen floor. Dropped off a bag at Goodwill, turned in some dead printer cartridges at Staples for $2/each, did the typical bank run, hit up Sam's Club, Ann and I went to an appointment, I went to the pharmacy to pick up some medication. After lunch I went out to Glenndale to try to intercept a delivery from the post office that would require a signature. I was only able to stay for about 40 minutes, during which time he should have come but didn't, and then I needed to leave for another appointment. So later on, when I got back out there, I found the slip of paper saying I needed to pick it up at the post office now. I went back to the post office for the second time today, and stood in a line out the door, for 30 minutes. When I get to the desk, the lady says "This won't be available for pick up until tomorrow." So two trips to the airport, two trips to the post office, and a long wait in a long line, all amounted to nothing but wasted time and gas and a reminder to relax and not worry about it. ;) I spent some time on emails today and got some things I'm looking forward to tentatively in the works for the future, and finished up at 9 pm running out to Greentown to pick up Kaylee, get her and me some food as I hadn't eaten today other than a salad at lunch, and home in time to do a few more small things on the computer. Now it's 1 a.m. and I'm a little too wound up to sleep properly.
So like I said. Busy, and since it was raining, a good day to get a lot of these things accomplished that I wouldn't be able to do the rest of the week with my current schedule, but not exactly fascinating for you...
