Later in the afternoon I went up in the Cub for the first time since last year, with a young man. He's 16, his first time in a Cub, and he L-O-V-E-D it. He was hooked. He's a brand new primary student of mine in the 172, but his parents are thinking of buying a Cub for him that's for sale at their nearby airport. Now that he's flown one, he's going to beg them to get it. ;) It was nice, actually. The open door on the muggy day, you could smell the fresh cut grass, and I fit in there just fine. Other than hand propping it with gloves with holes where my fingers poke out, defeating the purpose of the gloves, it was an enjoyable experience. :)
At a BBQ place close to our house, someone has gotten creative. They had a bush out on the divider cut into the shape of a pig with wings, and they keep decorating it. It was holding a flag, it had on sunglasses, and this one I took a photo of, because it was a pig bush wearing a pink tutu and it just cracked me up. Great way to bring attention to their business right there.
One dressed up pig. ;)

We were very high up, like 2000' in a Cub! See the runway down there?
