Sunday

I think it's kind of funny that when I woke up this morning, my legs were a bit sore.  I couldn't figure out what it was at first, and then it occurred to me.  Climbing the ladder 5 times up and down apparently used muscles that walking for 3 miles or an hour straight or whatever, don't use.  I think I need to shake up my exercise routine a bit if climbing a ladder makes my legs sore.  You'd think I was old or something.  ;)

Today the tree in our front yard is blooming in full force.  Normally every year at this time I get a photo of myself with my kids in front of that tree.  But now...the tree has grown so tall that it would just be a photo of us in front of a trunk, not in front of the blooms.  So I took a photo of the tree instead.  It's not the same, but the blooms are so high we'd need a ladder to get high enough to have the blooms behind us, which is kind of ironic considering yesterday, but more of a pain than we were going to do today.  :)

Steve and Justin have been working on a page for donations for Kaylee to go to Globals with Destination Imagination (DI). Basically by the 18th we are supposed to turn in about $800/per kid. Globals is a 5 day event, the kids miss school and everything, and they compete on a world wide level, which is really cool, actually.  Anyway, if anyone would like to donate towards Kaylee's DI trip, here is a link that Justin put up for us (thank you):  http://kayleestants.com/DI/.

Guess that's it for today.  Steve's been working on getting letters and such ready to send out, and working on Poker Run stuff, and I need to help him with that.  It's only 11 pm but we have a few things to get done still...
