It was just a typical day of running around. Steve took the Suburban to get its tires aligned, I picked him up there, we drove to Greentown to bring Kaylee food since she was going to be there all day for a play practice, stopped at Kokomo to pick up an airplane part, went back to pick up the Suburban, yadda yadda. At 5 o'clock I headed down to Sheridan, driving because of the weather, and even driving it wasn't that nice. The wind was blowing the snow around like crazy, and the roads are all icy, especially the north/south back roads. I stayed on US 31 as long as I could. We had a CAF meeting, and I was there until 9, left there and picked up Kaylee at her play practice at 9:45 pm, and made it home.
My adventure was that one of the guys got his truck stuck at Sheridan as we were leaving, drove off the driveway there. I found a rope inside, and he attached our vehicles together, and I pulled him out and back onto the driveway. That took one sentence to type, but took us about 30 minutes to accomplish. It was 13 degrees F, not sure what the wind chill was, but not good. I was in tennis shoes and had no hat or gloves, so I got chilled pretty fast. But I got him out. Go me. :)
Three shots of the airport beacon at Sheridan with my Explorer there. Nice looking weather around there, huh?
Green and white at the same time...
White!
Green!
You're welcome. ;)
