Fall

This whole week is just danged beautiful.  THIS is flying weather.  This is MY weather.  If I could find a place to live that had weather like this all year around, I would be perfectly happy with that.  Love it.  It's perfect.

I met up with an online acquaintance out at Kokomo this morning, as he was in town to visit family and was looking to have his airplane washed.  We had a young man do that, and we visited for awhile before I left to go get a few things done before lunch.

The rest of the afternoon I had a couple of flights, first in the Champ and then in the Cub.  I took the Champ guy over to Kokomo for some concrete 3-point takeoffs and landings, and the Cub guy stayed at Glenndale to work on grass 3-point landings.  Did I mention how gorgeous it was yet?  Gorgeous.  I thought about taking one of them up myself afterwards, but Kaylee had a tennis match, so Steve and I drove over to Western to watch her play.

Kaylee had to play three games against three different doubles, which is a lot in one afternoon.  They lost their first two games, and then the third they won.  Even in the games they lost, she's really doing a lot better.  She's moving faster, having good volleys more frequently, and her serves are getting more consistently over and in.  She's improving pretty quickly.  :)

More photos coming in, I just don't have them saved off yet.  Maybe tomorrow...
