Diversity

One of the things I like about what I do, beyond just the view out the window, is the diversity.  One day I'm bombing around in the T-6 giving rides and flying past folks. The next day I'm in a glass-panel twin shooting a WAAS GPS approach into a hilly little airport in Virginia.  The next day I take up a guy in a 172 to do some aerial photography of a local business, and then spend three hours flight time working with two different people in two different airplanes on getting their instrument ratings.  Another day I'll have somebody up in the Champ or Cub doing tailwheel stuff at the grass strip.  Another weekend I'll have a formation practice where I'm the student.  And I'll have somebody working on their first solo, or towards their license. Tomorrow it's another trip, this time to St. Louis, with a wait on the ground where I will go get some food and work on some stuff while I wait.  There are always enough things to do to keep me interested and having to actually work at something.  Staying current and proficient in all of it can be a challenge in and of itself.  I like that.
