Day before yesterday we had the blue skies and the bright sun and were outside playing around at Spring-like endeavors. This morning we awoke to another White Winter "Wonderland". School was canceled for the day, so everyone slept in, at least. We ended up with 10" of snow in Kokomo, but it's that real heavy, high moisture snow, and it's going to be gone really fast. In fact, this afternoon I took Kaylee to the sledding hill in town, and the snow was already departing off the top of the hill, and where the grass was coming through up there it was getting muddy. It was perfect snowman/snowball snow. Most kids I know were out of school today and thus out playing in some fashion out in the white stuff, which had better be the last snow we get this season. It's almost April, for heaven's sake.
We had fun on the sledding hill, then went over to Culvers for ice cream. It's Spring, you know, and even if it wasn't, ice cream is always fair game, even if you just came in from the cold...if you're Kaylee. ;)
