I had two flights back to back in the white Champ; I'd hoped it was fixed so that the guy could hand prop the airplane with me in the back seat and it would stay running, but after four starts and stops it became obvious it was not going to happen. So I had to do it while he kept it running with the primer until it stayed "lit". The good news was, I was able to do it. I was a little more awkward with it, but it worked. A couple of weeks ago I couldn't even lift my arms up that way, let alone put pressure on them. The bad news was that it quit on us after landing so I had to do it again, and then the next person I flew with had a bum shoulder, so when it quit on us once after landing I had to do it a third time...and I felt that one. But hey, I got some exercise in. ;) Speaking of, the PT I talk with has been pleased with my progress and said I should start adding in some weight bearing and flexibility exercises. So, believe it or not, I have been. I told you--the weakness has to go.
My third flight for the day was canceled, so I was able to get to the store and fix our Emergency Status, which included the fact that our last roll of TP was actually on the dispenser. If that's not an emergency, nothing is. :o ;)
One Winter Wonderland, satisfying even Ms. Kay:
