I don't have much of anything interesting to impart from today. The morning started a little rough for me since I stayed up too late, but I was kept busy enough until about 8:30 pm or so that I didn't have time to think about being sleepy-until now.
It started with instrument training in the 172, went to someone working on 3-point landings towards a tailwheel endorsement in a Champ, then flying in a different Champ with someone else's newly soloed student to see if he could go on another solo with today's conditions. In between I made it to a bank, a store, a gas station and a post office, and I got a lot taken care of these last couple of days. We ended the night with a dinner meeting with three other folks discussing a specific area of the upcoming BBQ Bash. I think it'll be a fun Bash this year...looking forward to it. :)
Kaylee's iPad has a messaging program on it, and throughout the day she sent me a couple of these Instant Messages, including a photo of herself in Science class. It's actually kind of a fun way to keep up with her. There was a large article in the paper about her school and the iPad program and how they encourage the kids use of technology as part of the tools they will be expected to learn and use as they go forth into the workplace too. It's really pretty cool what all they can do with these things. They scan in codes, they have homework apps, they do all sorts of projects with them. I've been impressed...
Too sleepy to end gracefully. Night.
