Hope

Suspicious the Turtle, the last turtle standing, seems to be doing okay best I can tell. He's not swimming around as much, but neither am I in there watching him that often, either. I hope that little bugger will stay alive for Kaylee for awhile. We have an entire cemetery zone of turtles in our back yard now. Ugh.

Tonight we had a nice birthday dinner for both Richard and Ann. Steaks on the grill, beans, rolls, salad, and a flower-shaped cupcake cake where each person could have their own w/o having a whole big cake left over that none of us should eat. :) It was a nice dinner and we're glad they could come over and spend some time.

I signed up for a formation clinic being held nearby in two weekends. We'll see if it's a waste of gas to get down and back, again; if I get any flying in, or not. I got my Private, Instrument, Commercial, CFI, CFII and aerobatics course all done in about two years. I did my multi and MEI a couple years later in one swoop. Taking several years to get just one little card done is lame, man. ;) Anyway, hopefully I can get some four-ship stuff in, as that's what's left...a girl can hope. :)

It'll be an early bedtime around here--I get to watch the sun rise from 19,000'...
