One more time--today's the first official day of Spring, and we had a high of 85 degrees in mid-March! Unreal. Man I hope this isn't a foreshadowing of a seriously hot summer, though. Spring is great, but 85 is about as hot as is comfortable flying around in enclosed little airplanes. But for today, I'm still diggin' it. ;)
I was supposed to have two flights in the 172, but on the first flight of the day, the flaps failed to come back up, and my next flight was canceled for maintenance. Steve went out east w/Nathan, and it was a good day to go somewhere...
I took Kaylee to the dentist after school, and she got a good report. All her baby teeth are out now, no cavities, and when the topic of braces came up, the dentist said that really her teeth are already pretty straight, a little crowded on the bottom, but that's it. We can get a free consultation with the orthodontist some time and see, but her teeth are strong, healthy and straight. So she got my strong and healthy, as I've almost never had cavities, and Steve's straight, as he never had braces. I'm so glad she didn't get my snaggle teeth, snarly mouth, had to have a bunch of teeth pulled stuff. :) Kaylee hates the fluoride, and can't wait until she never has to do that again. She also doesn't like the suction machine, but she does the whole thing a lot better than a lot of kids, and better than her mother, too. ;) She claims to want braces. I think she'll want them all the way up to when they tighten those wires up for the first time and she's eating jello for the 3rd day in a row with an aching jaw. Yeouch.
Happy Tuesday, and Happy Spring!
