Super!

The Giants take it away from the Patriots, and Laura goes to sleep with a smile. Having said that, I heard another interview with Brady today, and he was actually humble and honest about a couple things. Could be he's just getting smarter about interviews, or it could be he's wising up all around a little, but for now I'm still quite happy that a Manning brother was able to take the Superbowl ring and MVP award too, and happier yet that Pretty Boy Brady ate it. ;) Indy did a great job hosting the game, and hopefully will be able to host another Superbowl one of these years, and maybe I'll even get to go to one some day. :)

It would have been nice to be able to go hang out with some friends for the game, but I have a busy week with three trips in it and I'm still recuperating from this stupid head cold, and my stamina is kind of low, so we stayed home today. But that was good too. We got quite a few household things caught up, and I could sit around in comfy pants and yell at the TV and eat pizza and cheese/meat/crackers. Kaylee would make fun of me a couple times, but I don't care, that's the fun of being at home where they already accept that you're crazy. ;)

On a more serious note, tomorrow Dad's wife Gayle is going through surgery to remove cancer. Doctors are optimistic that it's not large, and a bone scan doesn't seem to show any spread of the cancer yet. They'll know more once they get in there and remove a lymph node and test it. But she's obviously nervous and has radiation treatments and possibly chemo, depending on what they find.

Kaylee's got four days to finish her Science Fair project. Lots to do, lots to do. :O

Well, it's late, time to finish up a few things and get ready for tomorrow.
