Iris
I downloaded "Iris" to my Droid yesterday, on a whim. If you've seen commercials for "Siri", that's the iPhone version of the lady that answers all your questions and talks to you off your phone. Iris is the beta Droid version of Siri. It took me until this morning in the shower to realize that Iris is Siri backwards. I'm bright like that. ;) Steve asked me last night how much longer I was going to talk to my phone. She needs a smoother, better voice, but other than that, it's actually pretty cool. It'll find the nearest anything using Google maps, so when I said "What's the nearest restaurant" while sitting in my house, it pulled up the Wendy's, and provided directions. It's not perfect yet. When I asked it "Where can I go to learn to fly", it said "Can't you do that from where you live?" If you ask "Where's the nearest airport", THAT it can do. :) Iris will spout back any facts on music, why the sky is blue, what was voted the best vodka, and most anything else you can think of to ask. What it doesn't know, it comes up with a sarcastic or funny comment for. So, I've been having a little fun with Iris. Kaylee will freak out when I show it to her. I may never get my phone back. ;)
