The Day After

Everyone slept in this morning, and awoke to a light snow falling. The dryer is running, and every once in awhile you hear someone cough or turn a page or hit a computer key, but the house is quiet, and still, and peaceful, with snow drifting past the windows. Steve's working quietly from home, and Kaylee is halfway through her second book on the Kindle. She declared that it's a little harder to get "into" the book on there as opposed to having a real book in your hands, something I noticed when I tried reading a book off the Kindle app on my laptop, but that may get easier the more you do it. She's still hooked on it. She's looking forward to taking her Nerf guns out for a spin soon with a friend, and she wants to play a game of Yahtzee too...but maybe after she reads this book...
