Briefly

It was a breezy one. When the corn rows were bent over, I knew it had been a good decision to postpone the T-6 ride scheduled for today. It was a direct crosswind out of Glenndale, so my checkride prep student and I decided to wait for a nicer day too. With wind gusts up to 40 knots, it was more than we figured we needed to play with for the day.

I took Kaylee's suitcase to her today after school, and she went off with a new-ish school friend to go to the Haunted Barn then spend the night. She was so excited, and so was her friend, who seems very sweet. We parents coordinated a bit and the girls ran off without a care in the world. It's great to be a kid. :)

Since Kaylee was gone, Steve and I decided to go out to eat and have a "date". One most excellent meal later, it's time to get off the internet for the day and be ready for tomorrow, with lots going on. I like it. ;)
