One Mississippi...

Watching the weather last night convinced me that I needed to leave for a trip to Olive Branch, Mississippi an hour earlier than planned. We had a prop to deliver to a prop shop in Memphis, TN, which is right by the Olive Branch, MS airport. Justin G. went along to do all the work for me on the flight, and we had a nice trip. The weather wasn't really supposed to move in until early afternoon, but apparently it didn't know that, as we watched it blow up a bit on radar on our way in. My mental math (Kaylee, math IS important!) told me that we would get there before the weather got there, but that we'd better turn it right back around and beat feet out of there. No lunch for the wicked. Well, I ate a bag of cheese puffs and a Diet Coke in the plane on the way home, but I don't think that counts. The prop guys came and picked up the prop from us, we got some gas, tower cleared us to take off while we were still on the taxiway halfway down to the end of the runway, the winds were just starting to pick up, the rain wasn't far off to our west, and we were outta there. Coming home we got groundspeeds of up to 226 knots, which is pretty nice for the Baron. :)
Well, I got about 3 1/2 hours of sleep last night total, and it's catching up to me now....time to count sheep!
